Givenchy Folie De Noirs - Le Prismissime Review

I am completely obsessed with this new Folie De Noirs collection from Givenchy and the definite highlight of the collection has got to be the Le Prismissime Noirs En Folie palette.

First of all the packaging is stunning, a black glossy compact incrusted with a shimmering lavender star and Givenchy logo. But of course packaging doesn't woow me as much as it used to and the product has to do alot more to impress me nowadays.

This palette has got to be one of the most impressive I've seen from any brand in years. Honestly to me it's the thing dreams are made of, from the second I saw it I knew I had to own it immediately. I am a huge smokey eye fan and this is the ultimate smokey eye palette with extra sparkle just how I like it.
The stud like eyeshadows remind me so much of the MAC mineralize eyeshadows that came out with the style black collection many many moons ago. I was obsessed with those shadows and still use them to this day, but this palette has a much more diverse variety of shades all in a tiny little compact palette, perfect for traveling and on the go.
Givenchy Le Prismissime Noirs En Folie Palette Swatch

I swatched the color over Urban Decay Primer Potion and using MAC Fix + to wet the brush, as I would with any mineralize eyeshadow of this type and you can see that the glitter really pops when you apply them wet. my only complaint about this palette would be the size, each eyeshadow is only 0.6g so at £40.00 for 5.4g of product it's kind of a lot. God know's I will probably never use them up though, not with the amount of makeup I have.
